While we are so incredibly excited to welcome students back to University life this fall, we at Theological Horizons also understand and take seriously the need to change the way we approach programing and events in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be updating this page throughout the school year with relevant information about our evolving response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will continue to host various events throughout the school year, our Vintage plan serves as an example of how we will be moving forward with events throughout the year.

Vintage Lunch

Our tradition of gathering together on Friday afternoons for Vintage Lunch is one that is incredibly dear to us. However, in light of regulations from the University and out of respect for concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made changes to our weekly gatherings.

• We host Vintage Lunch in shifts throughout Friday afternoon, and restrict the number of students according to the University of Virginia’s most current guidelines.

• Masks are required where students are not able to maintain a 6’ distance. For those who do not have a mask, or forget one, we have free, reusable masks available.

• Vintage Lunch takes place outdoors and in open air.

• Students are asked to RSVP to Vintage in advance so that we are able to monitor how many students will be attending at a given time and are able to trace contact afterwards.

• We provide individual outdoor mats placed at distances of 6’ or more for students to sit on and enjoy their lunch.

• The provided lunches are catered by reliable restaurants with individual drinks. Any lunches that need to be assembled will be finished by closely monitored interns who are trained, masked and gloved.

• Hand Sanitizer Dispensers and wipes are available.

• All handouts will be available through a touchless QR code.
