Come enjoy a free lunch and listen as Cindy Brinker Simmons shares about the interplay between faith and engagement in the business world. Cindy is a founding partner of Levenson Group which is a full-service strategic communications company that integrates advertising, public relations, marketing and social media.  She has been known for thirty-five years for her work as an expert communications specialist. Cindy serves on several non-profit and ministerial boards including the Virginia Athletic Foundation.  She graduated from UVa in 1979 with a bachelor of arts in communications and Spanish.  Cindy was a member of the varsity tennis team and cross country team and received the “Female Athlete of the Year” award. 

Cindy resides in Dallas and was married to her late husband, Robert (“Bob”) L. Simmons, Jr. for 15 years.  They have one son, William. Cindy is currently on sabbatical writing a book on hope.  Her first book, Little Mo’s Legacy: A Mother’s Lessons, A Daughter’s Story , was published in 2001.
