We are thrilled to host Dr. Danny Avula (‘99) for our next faith & work event. Dr Avula has been leading the Covid response for the state of Virginia and was also nominated Richmonder of the year for 2020. Please join us for a discussion around the ways faith has influenced and been influenced by his career in public health with Nadine Michel (PhD/MD, ‘22) facilitating.

He is an Affiliate Faculty member at VCU, where he regularly serves as an advisor and preceptor to graduate and medical students.
Governor McAuliffe appointed Dr. Avula to the State Board of Social Services in 2013 and he served as Board Chair from 2017 to 2019.
